ruth's year ender update

when i was in college, i owned a journal... any of you still remember this? and in that journal i actually posted this stuff. an update. inspired by OPRAH to do it. can you believe that? i also did another list.. "5 things to be grateful for" and OPRAH inspired me to do that too. don't watch her show now (coz again, no captioning) but i think she has a good show.

anyway, this is how my year ender update looks like:

favourite movie: LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING
i still love MEET JOE BLACK and JERRY MAGUIRE but i think i've already mentioned those a lot of times. so will go for LOTR. heehee.

favourite colour: violet, blue, white, red and black (not very benetton, eh?)

favourite mall: robinson's galleria has replaced glorietta. glorietta is too big for me now.

favourite actor: daniel radcliffe (you thought i was gonna say orlando bloom, eh?)
coz he's unfazed by all this popularity stuff, he doesn't own a blog(does he?), he looks better onscreen and he's a kid who will one day be great... oh, and he's british.... british kids have a better head on their shoulders than american kid actors. no offense, just an observation... an opinion. feel free to bite my head off.

favourite book: still HARRY POTTER. no need to elaborate.

favourite TV show: CHARMED. smallville. the AMAZING RACE.(i wanna join.hehehe)

tama na muna. i am not the kind anymore to do these stuf but it can be fun sometimes. hehehe.

TIME's PERSON OF THE YEAR

i cannot believe BUSH is TIME's PERSON of the YEAR. but who else has made a lot of noise this year. definitely BUSH. i would've gotten TONY BLAIR as PERSON of the YEAR. more intelligent. more profound answers. a hell of a lot cooler than Bush. Hehehehe. but oh well.

my worst xmas ever was when i was a kid. i was about 8 years old, i think. just having become Deaf. i envied my sister coz she got a cabbage patch radio player from my parents and i insisted my mom give me the same thing. so my mom gave me a cabbage patch kids radio player and i was humming along (to whatever tune, i don't know) when later i found out that the radio had no batteries... NO BATTERIES!!! humiliated, i marched to my mom, screamed that there were no batteries and threw the whole darn thing across the room.

the funniest xmas i remember was in america, when i was just a kid and spotted a TOYS R US price tag on my rainbow brite doll. i was like, "what's this??" and my aunt told me.... "santa claus owns toys r us" and i actually believed it. so whenever i was at toys r us, i was on the lookout... looking for santa. positive he was somewhere, putting the toys in the shelves. HEHEHEEHEHHEHEHEHE. kids can be so gullible.

my best xmas ever.... don't know if i've had one yet. last xmas i got a ton of slippers. (ehh???) so now have got 5 slippers. ah well.

bazaar madness

good day! finally got the chance to go online and write something here!! how was your weekend??? mine was spent sitting in a small stall... selling nightlights, pouches, wallets, a dancing monkey and nitrotech,celltech,HDT and a whole bunch of other slimming, muscle building stuff.... to happy shoppers!! yep... bazaar weekend for me!!

met the brother of an acquaintance of mine-- joey sunico. (richard sunico's bro)... he bought ten hampers from us.... and it was great to sign that weekend coz i was lip reading all weekend!!! my family doesn't know how to sign so it was a relief to meet someone who knows how to sign and be able to have a hassle free conversation!!! hehehe!!!! i think he was wondering if i was really Deaf coz he asked the oddest question "how old are you?" the first time my sister said i was Deaf. i guess he wanted to see if i really AM Deaf and not a phoney. hehehhe!!! can't blame him... do that myself too!!

the best thing about being at the bazaar?? erm, nothing. i would've preferred to be a shopper!!! the shoppers looked like they were having a grand time!! while all i wanted to do the whole time was crawl in my bed and go to sleep!!! hehehe!!!! so why do the whole bazaar thing?? needed money (no other reason, is there?) ah well!!! let's just hope the bazaar does well coz don't think can afford not to!!(so please buy from me, dear friends!! heehee!!)

the bad thing about typhoons is that a lot of people end up losing something... and it's a natural disaster(the obvious reason)... the good thing about typhoons? i have no work and still get paid for it!!!! HEHEHEHEHE!!!

signal no. 4 is the worst kind of typhoon in the phils that i know (unless there's a signal no. 5 that i don't know about)... it's not raining here right now in my area but i it's colder than it was a couple of days ago.. so i know, that as i write this.. there are people losing their homes, places where the streets are flooded..... i just don't know why it has to be the phils right now. i mean, we have suffered enough, right? and it's not like our govt can handle the damages. ah well... just thought about that.

oh i have to mention here... that the organization i thought had completely forgotten me... has just emailed me back. how nice. it gave me some advice which i hope to check out later today. let's just hope this is IT, you know??? coz i am pretty tired of being turned down but i guess it's part of the rough cycle of life.. we must undergo rough challenges in order to be awarded by some good ones... am i making sense again here??????



i have to write and i say that i watch the AMAZING RACE series and presently it's turning out to be a truly gruelling series.. i only wish they'd put caption in it. the subtitles aren't just enough. guys, i found out a nice place to fill in more of your AMAZING RACE curiousity... and want to know what it was they were talking about there!!!! (coz, agian.. no caption... maybe i should email the site of the TV series and ask for one!!!) i am hoping that don and mary jean wins coz they've got spunk and they're sweet. but i feel it in my bones that either hayden&aaron or kris&jon wins the race. but still i hope they make it! they've made it sooo far!!! would i join amazing race??? YEAH! i defnitely would!!!! hehehehehe!!!!and i'd probably get eliminated but it would be a once in a lifetime thing that you'd do!!!
