House Bills for the Deaf in the Philippines

Here's a cause I hope will go a long way - the passing of a bill that will surely benefit Deaf Filipinos. If you want to do your part to make the world a better place to live in, this is a good start :)

House Bill 4121 is about having sign language insets on television programs and House Bill 4631 is about having court interpreters for the Deaf. Both are very much needed in our country right now.

We need plenty of signatures and your full support! According to the site, there are several ways to show your support. These include:

• Download the House Bills from the "DOCUMENTS" link on the upper right of this webpage and print out the House Bills.
• Download the Signature Campaign Form. Ask your friends (Deaf and Hearing) to sign the Form.
• Send back the "Signature Campaign Form" to Philippine Deaf Resource Center
